Inside Mr. Beast's Studio: An Exclusive Tour with Online Creators

Take an exclusive look inside Mr. Beast's studio with online creators, revealing insights about the famous YouTuber's new season of Beast Games.

This past December, I received an intriguing email from Mr. Beast's studio—also known as Jimmy Donaldson—inviting me along with other online content creators to visit his studio. Initially, we thought it might be a scam, but as we looked into it, everything seemed genuine. We were promised a tour and a preview of episodes from season 2 of Beast Games.

After confirming the legitimacy of the invitation, I found myself on a flight to North Carolina, where I met fellow creators, including How to Beat, The Take, and others. Surprisingly, the Anime Balls Deep team met in person for the first time here. Upon our arrival, the studio's entrance showcased a gigantic sign tracking subscriber count in real-time, embracing fan art and letters.

The comprehensive tour highlighted the studio's origin and Mr. Beast's expanding media empire. We explored the editing and equipment rooms, discovering an impressive 1,700 GoPros, server facilities, and indoor and outdoor sets reminiscent of elaborate productions.

Dignified with a sense of grandeur, Mr. Beast, the famed YouTuber, engaged us briefly, displaying a down-to-earth demeanor as he greeted everyone personally. Though advised against overwhelming him with cameras, his genuine interest was palpable.

The experiences culminated in a focused screening, where Jimmy stealthily joined us to gauge our reactions. Seasoned in critique and reaction, our group offered diverse feedback: applaud for improved elements and suggestions for refinement. Inviting a diverse creator pool fostered honest feedback from lovers and critics alike.

The new season features a reduction in initial contestants from one thousand to two hundred, enhancing engagement through strategic eliminations and a theme of 'smarts versus strength.' Despite minor gimmicks and tonal inconsistencies, Season 2's core amplifies connections with contestants over challenges.

Mr. Beast impressed as a passionate host with genuine curiosity about our thoughts and maintained a lively atmosphere. The upbeat, collaborative environment countered expectations of potentially feigned enthusiasm within the expansive organization.

Our departure involved donning personalized jerseys, commemorating a memorable exploration of the behind-the-scenes of a YouTube giant, leaving us with an appreciation for Mr. Beast’s sheer influence and sincere approach.
