Hi everyone, it's Ashley. If you're joining again, welcome back, and if you're new, welcome. Today, I'm diving into episodes 13, 14, and 15 of Angel Season 1. Last episode left us with a wild twist where Cordelia got magically pregnant, and I'm curious to see where the storyline will take us now, especially with the chaos in Sunnydale and the crossover potential for Buffy.
As we progress, Wesley, in his unique style, and party scenes bring some lighter moments. However, the real crux of these episodes deals with darker themes, such as demonic possessions and internal struggles among characters. Episode 13 didn't quite capture my interest as much, especially with the less engaging demon plot.
Moving on to episode 14, I found the possession storyline captivating, especially when it took a shocking turn revealing the possessed child to have an inherently dark nature. This twist was unexpected and added depth to the episode.
Episode 15 had a more personal feel, delving into Angel's past and providing insights into Kate's family troubles. While I anticipated a Buffy crossover, these episodes were more about deepening the Angel lore, particularly through touching on Angel's history and the effects of his past actions.
Though these episodes weren't my favorites in terms of storyline, they set the stage for more significant developments, especially concerning the ongoing dynamic with Kate and the investigations into her father's dealings. I'm looking forward to seeing how the series wraps up the season.
