Breaking Down the Twists in Trackr Season 2 Finale

Trackr Season 2 brings shocking revelations and complex mysteries to a close, setting the stage for more intrigue in the next season.

Spoiler warning, this contains major spoilers for Trackr season 2. Over the last decade, Coulter's been invested in finding Gina Picket, whose sister Camille has been Coulter's intermittent romantic partner. After assisting a retired cop named Katon with an unresolved case, Katon assists Coulter in finally bringing closure for Camille. It's revealed that Gina was killed by Noah Darview, known as the teacher, a traveling anesthesiologist and serial killer. Gina was initially kidnapped by Frank, a former disciple of the teacher, which leads Coulter and Katon to Darv's hideout. There, Darv kills Frank, but Coulter apprehends Darv, leading to his arrest and the unraveling of his heinous crimes. With the mystery solved, Camille organizes a funeral for her sister and departs town, closing a difficult chapter in Coulter's life.

This isn’t the only case solved in Trackr season 2. Like its predecessor, season 2 sees Coulter solving various missing persons cases, often uncovering darker and more complex secrets. In one case, a lottery winner's family is abducted, not for their wealth, but due to the father's past ties with a crime family. Another case involves Scott Palmer, a missing alien tracker, found to be part of a government cover-up. An herbalist named Emiline is taken by drug dealers seeking her expertise. However, one standout case involves therapist Alice, who is kidnapped by a killer named Paul. Paul’s depraved art installations and dialogues with Alice lead to a climactic rescue by Coulter, raising moral questions about Coulter's approach.

Even amidst these tales, the most haunting case is in episode 20, Echo Ridge. Coulter returns home to assist a family friend looking for her brother, Bill. The investigation reveals a child trafficking ring linked to Coulter's past. Bill's disappearance is tied to Carl Murphy, and Coulter traces a wooden carving to his father, Ashton. Carl’s confession implicates his uncle, Otto Waldron, in the killing of Ashton at Mary Dove, Coulter’s mother’s behest. The revelation challenges Coulter’s view as his mother is suspected to have arranged his father’s death. The full truth remains a mystery, awaiting further unraveling in season 3, premiering on CBS on October 19th.
