Films with Crazy Endings That Redeem Their Bad Plots

Discover five films with bizarre endings that redeem their otherwise bad plots.

Some movies may not impress with their overall plot, but their endings are so outrageous and unexpected that they can turn the entire film experience around. Here’s a list of five such films with endings you need to see to believe.

Dracula 3000: In this 2004 sci-fi horror film, which misleadingly suggests a connection to "Dracula 2000," Dracula, known here as Count Orlock, battles a spaceship crew in the year 3000. In a jaw-dropping finale, the remaining crew members, Humvey and Aurora, crash their ship into the sun, destroying Count Orlock and saving humanity, all while choosing to embrace the ship's final moments together.

Tammy and the T-Rex: This 1994 horror comedy brings a bizarre love story to life when a teenager’s brain is implanted into an animatronic dinosaur. The film concludes with Tammy living with her boyfriend's brain in a jar, performing a strip tease for it as she searches for a new body for him.

The Haunting of Molly Hartley: A supernatural horror from 2008, where Molly discovers her life is the result of a deal with the devil. On her 18th birthday, she unwillingly becomes a servant of the devil, yet the ending is surprisingly upbeat as her newfound status brings her everything she ever wanted.

Blast: A 1997 action film, reminiscent of "Die Hard," set during the Olympics, features a janitor-turned-hero facing terrorists. In a shocking twist, it's a wheelchair-bound swordsman who saves the day by detonating explosives, upending expectations of the hero's role.

Lost Lake (Peak Experience): This 2003 romantic drama deviates from its genre with an alternate ending in which a ski vacation turns deadly due to an avalanche. The characters die but discover a seemingly limitless afterlife, portrayed with 1990s CGI, offering a humorous take on existential themes.

These films, through their insane endings, manage to leave a lasting impression, making them a unique experience worth the watch.
