Good evening, fans of Agent 47. I'm delving back into playing 'Hitman: World of Assassination.' Having thoroughly enjoyed the Lashifra DLC recently, and with 'First Light' soon to be released, I am immersing myself in as much of IO Interactive's flagship series as possible. Hence, it struck me as fun to traverse some of the most James Bond-esque levels in the game as we anticipate the release of 'First Light.'
Being quite new to the Hitman universe, I'm slowly navigating through the storyline. I'll kick off this series with one of the early levels that felt utterly Bondian to me - the Sapienza level in Italy, where you eliminate a mad scientist and destroy a biological weapon. Incorporating Rami Malek into this scenario could almost make it a 'No Time to Die' tie-in game! Do comment below on which other levels in 'World of Assassination' you would like me to play next, especially those brimming with Bond-like elements. The ones that are most mentioned or gain traction will be prioritized in my future playthroughs. So, shall we proceed? Let's dive into the mission briefing!
Welcome to Sapienza, 47. Your mission takes you to this picturesque coastal town on the Amalfi Coast. Your target, Sylvio Caruso, a former client and a brilliant but troubled bioengineer employed by the Ether Biotech Corporation, is working on a highly dangerous DNA-specific virus capable of infecting anyone globally. This invisible threat needs to be eradicated, and Caruso stopped. Our client seeks the project's cancellation on ethical grounds, without attracting attention. In addition to eliminating Caruso, you need to destroy the virus prototype and take care of Caruso's lab head, Francesca DeSantis, possessing crucial insights into his research.
Watch as I navigate through a peculiar case, attempting a mission story full of intrigue. Despite being called a non-Bondian catharsis, it appears suitably Bondian. This playthrough demonstrates the essence of trial and error involving some unintentional yet entertaining incidents.
Your reviews and suggestions guide my gaming adventures, so I look forward to your thoughts on what's next in 'World of Assassination.' Until next time, I bid you farewell, Agent 47 enthusiasts!
